DanceBUG Videos and Photos are purchased and delivered as digital files. Videos and photos can be accessed via our website DanceBUG.com or on the DanceBUG App. Digital files can be streamed or downloaded from any web-enabled device for 90 days after your purchase or while your Purple ArcHIVE membership is active.
In order to serve the wide range of dancers, there are a number of different packages and ways to purchase media from us.
Special Offer Single-Event Media Package
Approximately 7 to 10 days before an event, you may receive a special offer email. These special offers are sent to all attending studios, and our guardians who have previously purchased media; are active Purple ArcHIVE members; and have opted in on DanceBUG emails. To take advantage of this offer, locate the direct link within the email. It should look like this:
Click on the link and checkout! Special offers automatically expire at 11:30 ET the night before an event starts. If your studio is not dancing until Saturday, if the event begins on a Friday, be sure to place your order Thursday before 11:30 ET. Special Offers are a Single Event Package which includes all the videos and photos (where applicable) of a single dancer. Because orders are placed before an event, you will not be able to preview the photos prior to purchase.
Missed the Special Offer? Don't Worry!
You will still be able to purchase media on our website DanceBUG.com or in the DanceBUG App. For 2025, we have lowered our Single Event Packages as well as the costs per routine.
On the website and app, after you login, click on the SHOP tile
OR click on MENU sandwich or the SHOP button in the top menu
Then select "Competition Shop"
If you have a dancer in your account from previous purchases, the website and app will list any recently attended events and avaliable media.
If your account does not yet have a dancer associated with it, if the event you are looking for is not coming up, click on "Search New Dancer" or fill in the fields on the App to search for your dancer and their media.
If the photos have already been uploaded for a routine, you will be able to preview the photos by clicking on a routine and scrolling side to side both on the phone and on the website.
An Individual Routine
If you are only purchasing a single routine for both Video & Photos, click ADD TO CART.
If you are looking to purchase only the videos or the photos, click on the (+) symbol and select the specific item.
On the App, selecting a single routine looks like this:

The entries that are highlighted in purple indiciate that the media was prevously purchased and already in my account.
If you are a DanceBUG Purple ArcHIVE member, your online purchasing will be discounted. Purple ArcHIVE memberships can be purchased online, and your purchases will immediately be discounted.

Enjoy Media
Select competitions include media with their registration fees or charge a media fee. If you attended one of these competitions head over to dancebug.com/enjoy and click on your competition's logo. For more detailed instructions, click here.
Other Competition Media
If you are looking for competition media from events that happened before 2017 or if your competition is not listed in the store, please send us the following information:
- Event information (Competition name, location, dates)
- your studio name
- your dancer(s) name
- the routine name(s)
- your dancers DOB
Our support team can take a look at the archives and see whether the media is avaliable.
