Heading to a competition that uses DanceBUG? The DanceBUG app has a couple of useful features for you while you are at the event.
Find your Venue
- In your DanceBUG App, tap on LIVE EVENT INFO
- Tap on the event you are attending
- Tap on FIND VENUE in MAPS APP.
This will open up your maps application so you can start driving over!
Live Stream
Can't attend the event in person? Some competitions include a live stream of their event stage on the DanceBUG app or on their website.
- In your DanceBUG App, tap on LIVE EVENT INFO
- Tap on the event you are attending
- Tap on LIVE STREAM

Live Schedule
Live Schedule is an optional feature that shows what is currently on stage.
It will also display the next 5 routines. This feature is controlled by the backstage manager at your competition.
Please note that not all competitions use the "Live Schedule" feature. If there seems to be a discrepancy between what "LIVE" on your app compared to the stage, please alert one of the competition organizers.
Don't miss your dancer's routine! - Add your Routines
Event schedules can sometimes run early or late. Add your routines to your app and set up a notification. The DanceBUG App will send you a notification 15 or 30 minutes before the routine is scheduled to be on stage.
- Click on your Menu sandwich
- Go to In the "Live Event Info"
- Tap on your competition event
- Tap on MY ROUTINES
- Tap on "+ Add Routines"
- Select your studio,
- Tap ADD ALL to add all of your studio's routines OR Tap the plus (+) sign next to the routine you are interested in.
- Schedule your notification.
Remove Added Routines by swiping left, then tap DELETE
Full Event Schedule
If you are attending a competition that plans on releasing their full schedule, you will be able to see their entire schedule by clicking on "FULL SCHEDULE" this acts like a digital program with every routine scheduled to run at that event.
Note that not every competition will use every single feature of the DanceBUG App. If there are some features you really enjoy, please be sure to let your competition and us (DanceBUG) know!
