In your studio director's account, captured videos and photos are made avalaible if the routine was purchased by one of your parents. In addition, select competitions opt to use a media fee or simply provide the captured videos and photos to all of their participants.
For you, the studio director, to get your media
- First Log in to DanceBUG.com
- Click on MEDIA in the top right-hand corner of your main menu & click on COMPETITIONS from the drop-down menu
OR Click on "VIEW ALL" in the VIDEO JUDGE VIDEO section in the lower-right corner of your dashboard. - Click on the routine you'd like to view. Routines can be sorted by event or searched for by entry code or entry name at the top of the page.
- At the bottom of the video player of the selected routine, there will be an ambient option as well as the regular judge tracks. In addition, you will also have access to the photos (assuming photo services was present at your competition)
Should the routine in question been purchased by a parent, you will see the ambient and download option avaliable below the video player. HD-media takes time to upload and become avaliable.
If you get to a video player, and no ambient is avaliabe, (and the media was not included as part of a media fee or other arrangement), it likely has not yet been purchased. To purchase media, please create a guardian account or reach out to the DanceBUG support team.
Helping Parents get Media
If your parents need assistance in gaining access to the media at a competition, please direct them to reach out to our support team directly. Competition agreements with us vary and as a result whether media is to be purchased, already purchased, or included is dependent on the event and brand of the competition. To prevent miscommunications, it is best to direct parents to speak to us.
