Missing Critiques
Critiques may not yet be online for a number of reason. The first one is most likely time. For studios, critique access starts at 12:00 PM EDT/EST the Monday following the competition. While we make every effort to get media online, our team is often limited by internet speeds and travel times. If your critiques remain missing by Monday night, please email us with your studio name, the competition information, and the routine information.
Why are critiques for a routine not avaliable?
Critiques may also be missing due to other issues. As an example, the judge or capture team may have experienced technical difficulty at the event; a competition or a DanceBUG team member may have determine that the critiques unsuitable to remain online; a dancer may have experienced an issue during their performance resulting in unsuitable videos. DanceBUG and the competition may excersize discretion in removing critiques & other media. If a video is unsuitable, we may opt to provide audio critiques only. If you have questions about specific routines, email us with the routine information so we may review and assist.
Are you a parent looking for critiques?
Critiques are delivered to the account that registered for the competition, usually a studio account. Studios have the option of sharing critiques. However the decision to share these critiques belong to the studio. They may feel specific critiques educational while others not suitable for sharing. If critiques are shared with you, an email will be sent along with the information. If you have an existing DanceBUG account, log in and proceed to the "Shared Media" in the DanceBUG app or "Video Judge Critiques" on the website. Critiques shared with you will be avaliable for 14 days.
